life lesson

Simple things that can definitely be my highlight of this year would be something like "Class, all of you can refer to this report.  It is very good.  This is what I actually wanted.  The best I've seen so far from this class" - which was being said by a Professor of my class who is famous for his strict and scary and intimidating way of teaching while waving my report in front of the class after individually presenting the self-made sketches to him.

Thank you, God.
The effort is definitely worth it.

I've learnt my very own life lesson - which goes something like : people who seems like a genuine nice person who praises you with words that cooed you to your sweet scofield fantasy, their praises actually doesn't mean a thing.  It's either being said just for the sake of saying it, or saying it just for the sake to get you into something.  On the other hand, strict, scary and intimidating people that you don't feel you can befriend with, when they praises you, that kind of thing definitely worth something.

Atau - senang kata, dalam bahasa pasar, kalau jumpa jenis orang yang hari-hari dia suka puji kau itu ini buat kau rasa macam tercipta buat pertama kali, tak mustahil satu hari dia caci maki pijak henyak kau sampai jauh ke dasar bumi.  Jadi, lebih baik jumpa orang yang secara metaforanya suka menyembur api pada bibirnya, sebab tak mustahil satu hari dia akan bermanis dengan kau purely because who you really are, not because who you're not.

OK, rasa sangat inspired.  Berbelit-belit sikit tutur harini :-)

I believe every event that happens, be it the good one, or the bad one complements the other events in my life.  And being at this particular spot is like being given a second chance - that you don't want to make the same mistakes that you did, that you know you are inspired to make things work this time around.

On another note, my nephew seems to be very fond and attached to me ever since I start residing back here in Subang.  It's like me, the cool aunt who will blabber him for being a brat, yet I still shower him weird attention that sends him off giggling and laughing.- like teaching him playing guitar with his skeletal figure while making "grenng grengg" sound.

Bliss.

Just now, he came down and lie next to me watching the tv putting on his 'sleepy-sulking-face'.  The kind of look that you simply knew something must have happened just now, which I have no interest to bug with.

"Apan, dah mengantuk ek?"  He nods.
"Pergi tido dengan umi dekat atas, nak?"  He shake his head, and again the sulk face appears.
"Tido dengan ayah?"  Again he shake his head.
"Tido dengan Cik Ning?"  and he still shake his head.
"Habis nak tido dengan siapa?  Nak tido dengan Acu ke?"  And finally he nods.

There's just two problem with that.  One, I'm on single bed and he is definitely tido lasak kind of kid that once, I ended up being punched and hit almost 1/3 of the night.  Two, kids who cries in the middle of the night asking for "Susu...susu" will get nothing from me.

Thankfully, he fell asleep while waiting for me getting done with my favourite tv show that his ayah came down and fetch him and save me from the midnight misery.

But still, being adored by your nephew is a bliss.

Pernah dengar anti-blog people?

Seems like most of the blogger I adored has been harrassed in their very own blog space.  Ouh, tell me about it.  Been there, felt it.

I mean, what is this all about?  Some kind of holding grudge against witty bloggers society ka?  Publishing crude comments in his/her blog space just to get your point across?  And worse when you started blurting things that does not have any correlation whatsoever with the real issue?

It's like terrorising other people's space, trying desperately to humiliate these bloggers in their own space.   I know how it feels to be attacked in my own comfort zone.  Although you know that you have nothing to lose, that you try not to let it affect you, but yet, you are still affected.  Your writings will not be the same, you started talking metaphorically just to avoid from being bugged again, that sort of thing.

For me, blog ini ruang aku berdiri balik lepas aku jatuh.  A space for me to justify my actions when no one would care.  A self-healing space bila hati kena robek.  Therapy diri sendiri.  Titik gembira yang mesti disimpan.

The rules are simple.  You don't like it, stop reading.  You hate it, stop visiting.  You disagree, comment with ethics.  It's not that hard.  But some people hates it so much, yet they can't stop visiting.  Ouh, manusia sebegini adalah mereka yang lebih suka menjadi 'anonymous' atau meletak pangkal nama yang ditekan-tekan pada papan keyboard without any significance.  Kalau berani sangat mengutuk, kenapa tak berani letak nama, bukan?

Dan akhirnya, penulis blog sendiri yang akan diam, kerana diam tidak bermakna kalah.  Silence may be a victory upon self control.

Jadinya, tak suka, buatlah blog sendiri.  Kan?

Jadi harapnya, favourite blogger will stay strong - for haters are everywhere.  Duduk bawah so-called-satu-malaysia, rambut sama hitam, tapi hati kepala otak semua lain-lain.  Jadinya, tak ada cara lain.  Hati kena kuat.  Sebab esok-esok, mungkin hari kita pula.

Ouh I remember my fair share of strict levcturer, a Bangladeshi who teaches economy. When he called myt name and asked people to tepok tangan sbb I got the highest, it became the sweetest memory in my life. hands down.

orang2 gila mmg suka mengganggu blog org lain sbb diorang tak pandai nak blogging sendiri. biasanya aku gelakkan je diorang nih dlm blog aku, then they stop.
