TEATER MUZIKAL T.Q LOVE

Went there last Saturday with my sis and Habsah.  Got the free tix from my bro-in-law who worked with the media.  And I think -- it's a good thing that I got it for free.

Mungkin justifikasi aku dikaburi dengan teater yang pernah aku tonton sebelum ni -- since perception is something very subjective -- I may not be too fond with this particular show.  Mungkin sebab original movie or storyline yang terlalu hebat that it is so hard to be projected in theatrical act -- but kudos because the singing part is incredible.  

The stage set however bores me over time.  You just wished that at any time they will tear down the cubicles that looked like the Whoopi Goldberg tic-tac-toe-game-under-construction and replace it with some moving train or something.  Most of the part, aku tercari-cari which character is supposed to be acting since almost every body is on the stage at that time -- dan lampu sorot yang lambat 'disorotkan' is not making any justice to the performance.  Often, I wished they would've replaced perkataan 'entah apa-apa' with something more unambiguous and meaningful. 

Macam waktu that bookstore assistant, Azura is justifying why Azlan's magazine is not worth to be displayed at the front rack, the line went something like:

"Kenapa awak tak nak letak majalah ni dekat depan?"

"Sebab majalah ni ----- entah apa-apa" while flipping the said magazine angrily.

It just sounded bimbo to me.  It sounded like some chick who is trying to defend her opinion without any rigid excuses -- dalam erti kata lain -- she never read the magazine, and was challenged when the magazine owner questions her act.  It doesn't make it any closer to being attractive sedangkan watak Azura ni aku rasa macam seorang yang brilliant and intelligent and stands by her principles -- which is not really being portrayed in the theater's character.

Lagi satu, waktu Dian marahkan Dani kerana lebih suka jadi artis jalanan, she goes "Kenapa Dani degil sangat ni.  Kenapa Dani nak buat kerja yang --- entah apa-apa ni?"  How 'entah apa-apa' is 'entah apa-apa'?  'Entah apa-apa' adalah term yang aku selalu guna dalam blog entry masa aku umur 18 tahun sebab sangat mindless and tak pasti apa yang perlu di-justifikasikan atas sesuatu event.  When you heard it repeatedly in the same act -- instead of seeing everybody as a different character, your head will say that it's a character whose script is written by the same person that makes everybody sounded awfully similar.

Ouh -- sangat emosional bila watak perempuan yang intelligent jadi 'entah apa-apa'.

Mungkin expectation aku terlalu tinggi kot.  Apa-apa pun, kudos especially to Tony Eusoff and Norish Karman -- for such an amazing act, dan Tony + Nadiah Aqilah for such amazing vocal, dan Leya sangat funny and deliberate.  Sorry, gua tak dapat menangis waktu tonton ini. 

MENJILAT SUDU GARFU, DARI JARI KUKU HINGGA KE SIKU

Dalam keadaan peratus lemak yang melebihi nilai ideal yang dialami oleh badan gua ni, I am in dire need to control my eating regime.  But, meanwhile -- let's just post some nice + delicious + irresistible dishes -- just to remind me how great Malaysian food really are.  It may not necessarily look appetizing, but it is definitely delicious, yummy, buat kau rasa macam nak hirup sampai titisan terakhir --- and fattening too.

Last Sunday, I had my lunch at 6pm since ---- it's long story.  Anyway, called the beau, the only partner in crime that will always be available during such emergency, and he said "Dah lama kita pergi KL kan", which I replied "Dah lama awak tak pergi KL kan" since the earlier statement does not really imply to me. 

Anyway, I am very cranky when I'm hungry, and every food stall with a picture of bowl and smoke coming out of it makes me drool.  However, the beau is the cranky one when it comes to food.  A typical dude who can only say YES to nasi and usual local dishes.  Pusing punya pusing punya pusing, finally we found this little place nearby Chowkit, near lorong yang ada masjid dekat chowkit, right across restoran ikan bakar yang tak ada customer, and a few blocks next to restoran sajian negeri sembilan by which at the first glimpse I've mistaken it as restoran mamak due to the interior and exterior deco.

Introducing Lala Seafood dan Tomyam.  Memang buat hati jadi lalalalala lepas makan dekat situ.

Sekali lalu memang tak perasan ada kedai makan since it is quite hidden between bangunan buruk dan lalang di Kuala Lumpur.  Tapi tempat ini sangat classy wa cakap lu.  They have an air-conditioned and also non-air-conditioned space.  We love fresh breeze -- so we settled for the non-conditioned spot and just snap a photo at the air-condition room.  While making our order, we are calculating the price for each dishes orders since -- it is the end of the month, mind you.

Ayam kampung goreng (RM5.50 kot)

Aku "Apa beza ayam biasa dengan ayam kampung."
Beau "Cuba rasa."
Aku - kunyah dan terdiam.
Dalam hati "Bloody hell, this is freaking delicious!"

Kerabu kaki ayam (RM10) 

Initially, I wanted only kerabu mangga -- but the beau insists with the kaki ayam.   Juga, sangat sangat sangat sangat sedap.   I forgot that I'm fat and this is the kind of dishes yang langsung tak membantu usaha untuk menurunkan peratus lemak excessive dalam badan.  Ok, janji tak buat lagi.

Tomyam campur (RM5.50)

Lepas makan, muka semua jadi merah, boleh bayangkan asap keluar ikut telinga dan lubang hidung.  Freaking delicious -- but too hot and painful for my injured tongue.

Pulut durian as dessert (harga -- tak ingat)

Panas suam, masin, manis, pulut lembut, durian wangi -- ok lah, aku surrender.  Sedap!

Dan oh--- lampu ini sangat comel.

Maka dengan ini, kita tutup dulu sajian berasaskan ayam demi kesihatan diri (T_T)  Till then -- live healthy yah.  Sudah satu hari sober dari makan ayam.  (haha!)
