What more signs do you need?  Idolatry is a big NO-NO.

And for a statue that costs $300K to $700K, might as well they donate it to charity houses.

Bishop said the statue will be rebuilt.  "It will be back, but this time we are going to try for something fireproof," she said.

Make it fire proof, lightning proof, weather resistance. algae proof, fungus proof, scratch proof, etc. proof, when all the proof that you ever need is the symbol of God should never be interpreted by any statue.

NST top news : Nothing wrong with betting

Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he found nothing wrong in the government's decision to allow sports betting as long as Muslims were strictly barred from it.

OK, fair enough.

He said, "We must separate religion from politics, but for Pas, Islam is their political tool."

You don't separate religion from anything - be it political issues or even family issues.  Religious belief is the way of life - it is the guidance upon which you have to follow, upon which your action should be based on, upon which it should be the central system of living -- because it is tailored and designed - for us - a being in this world.

Don't tell me because it is monkey sitting on the political chair, that religion have to be separated from politics?  Even religious belief covers the animals as well...
